Terms & Conditions
Definitions
For the purposes of these Terms:
- "Website", "Site": The review and informational service operated at https://jokaroom-aussie.com, including all subpages, content, and tools, collectively referred to as "Joka Room". The Site does not itself provide gambling services.
- "Operator", "we", "us", "our": The entity operating and managing https://jokaroom-aussie.com. The Operator acts as an informational and review publisher only and is not a licensed gambling provider in Australia.
- "User", "you", "your", "Player": Any natural person who visits, accesses, or uses the Site, regardless of whether they proceed to visit or register with any third-party gambling service.
- "Account": A user profile, if and when such functionality is provided on the Site (for example, newsletter or comment registration), enabling personalised features. It is separate from any gambling account you may hold with third-party operators.
- "Third-Party Operator", "Casino", "Gambling Service": Any external website or company offering real-money gambling services that may be mentioned, reviewed, or linked from the Site (including services trading under the Joka Room name). These third-party operators are independent of the Operator.
- "Bet", "Wager": Any stake of money or money's worth placed by you with a Third-Party Operator. Bets and wagers are never placed with, through, or accepted by the Operator of this Site.
- "Bonus", "Promotion", "Offer": Any incentive, including free spins, deposit matches, cashback, or similar, proposed by a Third-Party Operator. Information about such bonuses on the Site is for informational purposes only and may not be complete or up to date.
- "Content": All text, graphics, reviews, comparisons, articles, guides, images, videos, software, and other materials made available on the Site.
- "Australian Law": Includes, without limitation, the Interactive Gambling Act 2001 (Cth), Australian Consumer Law, privacy legislation, and any applicable state and territory regulations.
- "Prohibited Jurisdiction": Any country or territory where accessing or using offshore gambling services, or using information to do so, is illegal or restricted under local law, including Australia where applicable.
Account Registration
Eligibility and age restrictions
- Minimum age: You must be at least 18 years old, or the legal age of majority in your place of residence (whichever is higher), to use any interactive features of the Site or to proceed to any Third-Party Operator we mention.
- Australian compliance: Under Australian law, it is illegal for offshore operators without appropriate authorisation to provide certain interactive gambling services to persons in Australia. The Site is an informational resource only; however, you remain responsible for ensuring that any gambling activity you engage in via Third-Party Operators is lawful in your jurisdiction.
Creating a Site account
If the Site offers user registration (e.g. for newsletters, comments, saved favourites):
- Registration process: You may be required to provide your full name, email address, a chosen password, and (where relevant) your country of residence. We may send a verification link to your email. Your Account will be active only after successful verification.
- Accuracy of data: You warrant that all information supplied during registration and throughout your use of the Site is true, accurate, current, and complete. You must promptly update your details if they change.
- Prohibition of impersonation: You must not create an Account using a false identity, another person's details, or temporary/disposable email addresses for abusive or misleading purposes.
Know Your Customer (KYC) and verification
- Site-level checks: As the Site is an informational platform, routine KYC processes are generally not performed. However, if we introduce features with monetary value (for example, prize draws, affiliate rewards, or paid services), we may request identity and age verification documents such as a passport, national ID, or utility bill.
- Third-party KYC: Any KYC requirements relating to gambling accounts are strictly between you and the relevant Third-Party Operator. The Operator has no control over and no responsibility for such processes.
User obligations regarding security
- Confidentiality of credentials: You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details. Any activity performed through your Account will be deemed to have been carried out by you.
- Notification of breach: You must notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect or become aware of any unauthorised access to your Account or a security breach concerning the Site.
- One account policy: Unless explicitly allowed, you may hold only one Account on the Site. We may suspend or terminate multiple or duplicate accounts.
Betting & Gameplay Rules
The Site itself does not accept bets, wagers, or real-money play. The following rules clarify the allocation of responsibilities and your obligations when relying on our information to access Third-Party Operators.
Information about bets and games
- No betting facility: Any references to "bet", "wager", "gameplay", or "stakes" on the Site relate to activities offered by Third-Party Operators. We provide only reviews, guides, and general information.
- Indicative nature of data: Minimum and maximum bet sizes, game rules, return-to-player (RTP) percentages, and similar data presented on the Site are indicative and may be incomplete or outdated. The binding rules are those published by the relevant Third-Party Operator at the time of your play.
- User responsibility: Before placing any bet, you must check the applicable rules, odds, and conditions directly on the Third-Party Operator's platform.
Cancellation and modification of bets
- No control over bets: The Operator cannot accept, cancel, modify, or otherwise intervene in any bets or wagers placed with Third-Party Operators.
- Errors and discrepancies: If a discrepancy arises between information on the Site and that on a Third-Party Operator's site, the latter prevails. You must address any dispute concerning bet settlement, cancellations, or game malfunctions directly with the Third-Party Operator.
Conduct in live casino, chats, and community tools
If the Site provides community tools (such as comments, forums, or chat about Joka Room or other brands):
- Prohibited conduct: You must not:
- Post or transmit insults, harassment, hate speech, threats, or defamatory statements;
- Promote or engage in fraud, collusion, bonus abuse, or arbitrage techniques intended to exploit Third-Party Operators in violation of their terms;
- Share private or confidential information (including other users' personal data) without consent;
- Upload or distribute malware, spam, or any content that could harm the Site or its users.
- Moderation rights: We may remove content, suspend commenting privileges, or terminate Accounts at our sole discretion where we consider behaviour to be unlawful, abusive, or contrary to these Terms.
- Independence of Third-Party chats: Any live casino chat or communication tools within Third-Party gambling services are outside our control and are governed by those operators' own rules and policies.
Bonus Terms
The Site presents information about bonuses, promotions, and loyalty programs offered by Third-Party Operators (including offers associated with the Joka Room brand). The following terms regulate how such information is to be understood and used.
Bonus activation and wagering requirements
- Informational only: Descriptions of welcome packages, no-deposit bonuses, free spins, cashback, and similar offers are for guidance only. The Operator does not issue or manage any bonuses.
- Typical conditions (non-exhaustive): Third-Party bonuses often involve:
- Minimum deposit thresholds for activation;
- Wagering requirements (e.g. 30x - 60x bonus amount or bonus plus deposit);
- Maximum bet per spin or hand while wagering (e.g. AUD 5 - 10);
- Time limits for completing wagering (e.g. 7 - 30 days from activation);
- Country, game, and payment-method restrictions.
Prohibited games and actions
- Game restrictions: Certain games (for example, progressive jackpots, some table games, or specific slots) may be excluded or contribute at a reduced rate to wagering requirements. Our summaries may not capture all such restrictions.
- Bonus abuse: Commonly prohibited behaviours include:
- Using multiple accounts to claim the same offer repeatedly;
- Placing low-risk bets or hedge bets to clear bonuses without real risk;
- Deliberate exploitation of software or rules errors.
Combining promotions and changes
- Non-stackability: Most Third-Party bonuses cannot be combined unless explicitly allowed. Information on the Site may not always specify whether offers can be used together; always check the Third-Party Operator's terms.
- Dynamic nature of offers: Promotions and bonus structures can change or be withdrawn without notice. We strive to keep information accurate but make no guarantee that any particular offer remains available, lawful, or suitable for you as of the time you access it.
- No guarantee of eligibility: The fact that an offer is listed on the Site does not mean you are eligible to claim it. Eligibility may depend on your age, jurisdiction, payment method, and other factors determined by the Third-Party Operator.
Payments & Withdrawals
The Operator does not process deposits, bets, or withdrawals. Any payment transactions referenced on the Site relate to Third-Party Operators only. This section clarifies the limits of our responsibility and provides guidance to Users.
Deposit and withdrawal methods
- Typical methods (Third-Party Operators): Casino sites we review may offer credit and debit cards, e-wallets, bank transfers, prepaid vouchers, and cryptocurrencies. The availability of any method for Australian residents is subject to local banking and regulatory restrictions.
- No handling of funds: The Operator never holds, manages, or safeguards User funds. We do not receive your gambling deposits or winnings.
- Information accuracy: Any descriptions of supported payment methods, fees, or processing times on the Site are approximate and may not reflect current conditions at Third-Party Operators.
Limits, fees, and processing times
- Variable conditions: Deposit and withdrawal limits, including minimum and maximum transaction amounts, daily or monthly caps, and any associated fees, are set exclusively by Third-Party Operators and payment providers.
- Processing times: Withdrawal times may depend on:
- Internal review and KYC checks by the Third-Party Operator;
- Weekends, public holidays, and time zones;
- Policies of your chosen payment provider and intermediaries.
Refunds, chargebacks, and bonus funds
- No refund authority: The Operator cannot issue refunds of deposits, bets, or any form of bonus made or granted by Third-Party Operators.
- Disputes and chargebacks: Any disputes relating to non-payment, delayed withdrawals, or chargebacks must be resolved with the relevant Third-Party Operator and/or your payment provider. You should carefully review the terms of those parties.
- Bonus cancellation: Third-Party Operators may cancel or confiscate bonus funds and related winnings if they suspect breach of their terms. The Operator is not involved in such decisions and bears no liability for their outcomes.
Limitation of Liability
Operator's obligations

Exclusions of liability
- No gambling contract: No contractual relationship concerning gambling, betting, or winnings exists between you and the Operator. Any such relationship arises solely between you and Third-Party Operators.
- Technical failures and interruptions: We are not liable for:
- Interruptions, delays, or unavailability of the Site caused by maintenance, network issues, DDoS attacks, or other technical failures;
- Data loss, system failures, or security incidents arising from third-party hosting providers, software, or your own devices and internet connection.
- Third-Party content and legality: We are not responsible for:
- The legality, licensing status, or regulatory compliance of any Third-Party Operator;

- Indirect and consequential loss: To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, we exclude all liability for indirect, incidental, punitive, exemplary, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of opportunity, or reputational damage.
Maximum liability
- Cap on damages: Where liability cannot be excluded under Australian law but may be limited, the maximum aggregate liability of the Operator arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), statute, or otherwise, shall not exceed:
- the greater of AUD 100; or
- if you have paid any fee directly to the Operator for access to specific Site services, the total amount of such fees actually paid by you to the Operator in the six (6) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
- Consumer guarantees: Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantees, rights, or remedies conferred on you by the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded, restricted, or modified by agreement.

Ownership of content and software
- Proprietary rights: All intellectual property rights in and to the Site and its Content - including but not limited to text, articles, reviews, comparative tables, logos (other than third-party trademarks), design elements, layout, and underlying software - are owned by or licensed to the Operator.
- Third-party trademarks: All trade names, trademarks, logos, and service marks related to Third-Party Operators (including "Joka Room" and similar) are the property of their respective owners. Their appearance on the Site does not imply any affiliation, sponsorship, or endorsement by the Operator, nor by the owners of those marks.

Privacy & Data Protection
- Privacy policy: All personal data collected through or in connection with the Site is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms. You should review the Privacy Policy carefully to understand how we collect, use, store, and disclose your information.
- Compliance with law: The Operator endeavours to process personal information in accordance with applicable privacy and data protection laws, including the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles, to the extent they apply to our activities.
- Third-party tracking and links: The Site may contain links to Third-Party websites and may use third-party analytics and advertising services. The data practices of those third parties are governed by their own policies, which we do not control and for which we are not responsible.
Changes to Terms
Modification procedure
- Right to amend: We may revise or update these Terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes in Australian law, regulatory guidance (including ACMA enforcement action), technological developments, or our business practices.
- Notification: Where changes are material, we will use reasonable efforts to:

Termination & Suspension
Grounds for suspension or termination
- By the Operator: We may, at our sole discretion, suspend or terminate your access to the Site or close your Account (if applicable), with or without prior notice, where:
- We reasonably suspect a breach of these Terms or any applicable law (including attempts to use the Site to facilitate illegal gambling in Australia);

Consequences of termination
- Account closure: Upon termination, your access to Account-specific features will cease. We may retain certain information about you as required or permitted by law, as explained in our Privacy Policy.
- No impact on Third-Party accounts: Termination of your Site Account does not affect any accounts or balances you may hold with Third-Party Operators. You must manage those directly with the respective operators.
- Surviving provisions: Any provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including, without limitation, those relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and governing law) shall continue in full force and effect.
Governing Law & Jurisdiction
Applicable law
- Choice of law: These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or your use of the Site, are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and, where applicable, the laws of the Commonwealth of Australia, without giving effect to any conflict of laws principles.
